ANAL SEX PREPARATION PROGRAM: FOR MEN WHO ARE TOO TIGHT

At Bespoke Surgical, we want all men to have healthy, fully functioning pelvises to assist in living our authentic life. Many men have symptoms related to being too tight in the muscles of the pelvic floor and not sure what can be done about it. The good news? There is a lot that can help.

Who Can Benefit From The Anal Sex Preparation Program

If anal canal or other muscles of the pelvic floor are tight and restricting you from engaging in anal sex, if you have difficulty passing stool because it is hard to get out, if you experience pain during or after anal sex, or if you have developed anal fissures in the past, this program is for you.

How Is The Tightness Assessed And Treated?

You will have a comprehensive pelvic floor examination including ultrasound imaging, anorectal manometry, surface electromyographic testing, and manual assessment. After we discuss the results of the testing, we can make a treatment plan specific for you. The treatment plan might consist of pelvic floor relaxation training, manual dilation of the anal canal, and internal manual techniques to decrease the tone of the pelvic muscles, graded anal dilation with plugs, pelvic floor down training with sEMG or manometric biofeedback, and a home program of pelvic muscle reconditioning.

How Long Does It Take To See Any Improvement In My Condition?

You will be able to realize improvement quickly with this treatment. Generally, men who have this issue see improvement in terms of less pain with anal sex, easier trips to the bathroom, and improved pelvic floor mechanics in 2-4 weeks. The best results will appear after 4-5 weeks.
